#10. Animal Encounters

Animal Encounters are some of the most frequented and favorite experiences by guests at the resort. Depending on the time of the year (they are all open over the summer!), schedule time with the big cats, the lions, the tigers, a skunk, or a tortoise. Over the weekend, you can check out Billy Goat Mountain for a meet-and-greet, create stimulating enrichments for a few of our critters, or take a walk on the wild side with a Safari Tour.

#9. Gentleman’s Pedicure

Dad deserves a chance to de-stress and get the ick off his feet. Reserve a gentleman’s pedicure, a men’s facial, a Woodlands Massage, cryotherapy at the Holistic Healing Center, or some time at the Woodlands Spa. He’ll release his tension and be relaxed and ready for the rest of the weekend!

#8. 3D Wilderness Archery

Have you heard about this new adventure at Nemacolin? With 3D Wilderness Archery, you can team up with Dad and take your best shot at realistic targets of unique animals from around the world. #7. Sculpture & Photography Scavenger Hunt

If Dad likes photography, art, and sculptures, Nemacolin is his paradise. How about a hand-drawn family portrait by Artist in Residence Hannah Steele or a sketch by Jessie Haring? These are experiences he’ll never forget.

#6. Electric Bikes

Borrow a bicycle, and take a spin around some of the resort’s more than 2,200 acres. We’ll give you a map, and the adventure will be yours to imagine. Take a ride through tranquil scenery and lush landscaping on paths that meander from The Grand Lodge, past the Auto Toy Store, and all the way to Falling Rock. On your way, ride The Carousel, or take in an entertaining round of putt-putt at Fallingbrook Mini Golf.

#5. Dinner & Drinks at Falling Rock

A bottle of wine and a delectable meal might be just what Dad wants. If so, we’d recommend an evening visit to the Amber Bar for drinks and bagpiper bellows on the terrace. Follow that with dinner and dessert at Aqueous, and then take him back to the music of the 80s with a fabulous dance band or DJ at The Peak. No acid-wash jeans are required.

#4. Roar & Pour

In this fun family activity (offered by advanced, special request for groups or families), guests can move about the wildlife enclosure trail partaking in beer pours for the adults and juice boxes for the kiddos. We can arrange Nemacolin swag, snacks, stickers, and souvenirs that will deliver smiles all around, and there are so many other Wildlife Adventures from which to choose. It’s ok to dream big. We’re pretty great at delivering curated experiences.

#3. Fly Fishing

Nemacolin promises thrilling fishing Dad will remember. We’ve got some of the finest fly-fishing steams in the Eastern United States, and our team can deliver guided instruction, a two-hour trip, a half-day excursion, and a full day of adventure. Finish out the afternoon by picking up an Orvis shirt at the Rod & Range Club’s Pro Shop, and you’ll see dad catch and release all the Father’s Day feels he can imagine.

#2. Hot Shave & Bourbon Bar

Dads do deserve days of delight, too. A hot shave, heated towel, haircut, and a hand and arm treatment are sure to please … especially as he’s enjoying complimentary swills of bourbon in the luxury of Falling Rock’s lavish locker room. This is a special offer for occasional events, but if this is right up your dad’s alley, the team at the Woodlands Spa can make it happen any time of the year!

Nemacolin has got it going on when it comes to golf, and Dad knows it (and he’s probably mentioned it, too, right?).
